The 8(a) Streamlined Technology Acquisition Resources for Services (STARS) contract is a U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Government Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) designed to promote small disadvantaged business utilization when purchasing technology solutions for the federal government.

The STARS contract is a small business set-aside contract for technology products and services. The contract is a Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (MAIDIQ) contract vehicle.

The 8(a) STARS GWAC enables federal agencies to fulfill their information technology requirements and meet or exceed socio-economic goals through the utilization of businesses that are 8(a) certified.
