David Markuson

David is the Sr. Vice President of Finance and IT at Oasis Systems. He brings an extensive background in finance and operations in the government contracting industry. David and his team are responsible for the Accounting, Financial Planning and Budgeting, Information Technology, Treasury Operations and Financial Systems for Oasis Systems. His duties also include managing the relationships with government and financial auditors, bankers, and other financial service partners.

David previously spent 11 years at Draper Laboratory, where he was the Principal Director of Finance responsible for the Accounting, Planning and Treasury duties. He has also worked for Abt Associates and TASC in a variety of senior financial roles including forecasting and analysis, accounting operations and financial systems design and implementation. During his career, he has designed and implemented management dashboards, profitability reports, and planning and forecasting models, and has led numerous cross-functional team initiatives including indirect cost management, business partnership, pension plan risk reduction, bond refinancing and ERP Systems implementation initiatives.

David graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Quantitative Business Analysis, and received his MBA from Northeastern University. He serves on the board of the MIT Federal Credit Union, including 3 terms as Board Chairperson, and volunteers his time supporting the Boston Athletic Association, PGA Tour, and USA World Cup soccer. David works out of our Burlington, MA headquarters office and enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and traveling.
