Ms. Evans has more than 23 years of human resources and business experience with in-depth expertise in government contracting and commercial environments. She is responsible for overseeing and managing the human capital assets of the company to ensure that Oasis is a top quality employer that attracts, develops, motivates and retains the most talented people in the industry. “Here at Oasis, employees are our most valued resource. In her role as Senior Vice President of Human Resources, Ms. Evans in conjunction with her team, oversees and manages all employee related matters to include employee relations, employee benefit programs, property and casualty insurance program, recruiting and retention, organizational development, compensation, performance management, policies and procedures, industrial security, health and safety program, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and policies.
Before joining Oasis, Ms. Evans served as Vice President of Human Resources and Administration for MAR, Incorporated, where she was responsible for all employee & recruiting related matters, the ISO 9001 Program, assistant Security Officer, corporate property and casualty insurance and human capital strategic planning. Ms. Evans is known for her attention to detail and interpersonal skills. Ms. Evans received her B.S. degree in Human Ecology from the University of Maryland in 1991 and a Master’s Degree in Human Resources from the University of Maryland in 1999. She enjoys spending time with her teenage daughter and friends, attending weekly Spin classes, reading, and volunteering both at Church and in her local community.
